The Covenant University’s Electric Automobile Research Cluster has wowed people with their latest invention referred to as, Covenant University Integrated Dual Engine Automobile system, also known as the CU IDEA.
The CU IDEA assembled and designed  three auto mobiles ranging from two saloon cars both with and without Air-condition to a tri-cycle popularly known as “Keke Napep”.

These new inventions were made and displayed to commemorate the 60th birthday of their Chancellor, Dr. David Oyedepo which took place last month.

It was learnt that the research cluster team was sponsored by the University under the supervision of Professor James Omoleye who is also the Head of Department of Chemical Engineering,.

Gospel singer Yinka Ayefele has been hit by another sad incident as his house in the Felele area of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, is reportedly on fire. According to report, the fire started on Tuesday morning but there has been concerted efforts to put it under control.

The cause of the fire could not be ascertained, but the talented singer who is on wheelchair has said everything is under control even as he assured his fans that he is safe.

Police arrest twins for robbery in Lagos

A set of twins, Taiye and Kehinde Balogun, (pictured above) have been arrested by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Lagos for robbing a factory belonging to Reckitt Benckiser, Punch reports.

Police authorities said the brothers, who were welders, were hired by a robbery gang to break into the company's warehouse in May last year. The robbery gang robbed the company of soap, noodles and chemicals worth N17million.
