SAM Smith reckons it was no biggie becoming bestie mates with superstar Katy Perry.
After hanging together at this year’s BRITs, Sam, 21, and KP, 29, were inseparable at America’s Coachella Festival.


Supping Bacardi in the Soho House area, Sam told me: “Katy’s incredibly friendly and lovely.

"People think these big stars are going to be divas, but once I got over being starstruck they are just normal people who like to be treated normally.

"And she’s fun.”
